THE BIG ISSUE
WHERE THE STARS SPEAK OUT
THIS WEEK:

IAN BROWN
ON MIKE TYSON'S VISIT

I think the campaign against him coming was a shame, cos I feel likr he's a victim anyway. I can't defend what he did, but, you know, you've got guys like General Pinochet who train alsations to rape women and we had a chance to do something with him. It's just cost the people £8 million and they've let him go. So I think there's bigger targets than Mikey T. It's not like he's gonna jump out from behind a bush and attack anybody.

"I think the spending spree was a good way of getting back at those people that are putting you down - go and spend $2 million on a watch. He's not looking for anybody's love, you know, but he'll demand everybody's respect. He isn't Nelson Mandela, he isn't Muhammad Ali. He's a great fighter in the ring, but that's all we love about him."
