THE STONE ROSES (above) follow up to to the much apploauded 'Made Of Stone' is out on Silvertone Records on Monday. The 45 is 'She Bangs The Drums', a new version of the song featured on their eponymous indie-chart-topping debut LP.

The B-side of the seven-inch is 'Standing Here' with bonus track 'Mersey Paradise' on the 12 inch and 'Simone' as the extra song on the cassette and CD versions. The seven inch will also contain a limited edition colour postcard while the 12 inch comes with a full colour print of one of guitarist John Squire's paintings. The band are currently lining up a major coastal show in August, with a European tour to follow.
