THE SEAHORSES
Seahorses gee up

SEAHORSES, John Squire's new band, played a secret live debut at Buckley Tivoli on Wednesday, November 27. According to Squire, more gigs are planned, but they will be low-key and not publicised.

"We're just going to get in the van and be told the town and the gig when we're on our way there," he said.

Squire has only recently completed the line-up of the four-piece, which he enigmatically describes as, "guitar-based pop".

Seahorses are John Squire on guitar, Chris Helme on vocals, Stuart Fletcher on bass and Andy Watts on drums.

The band are currently rehearsing in the UK before flying to Los Angeles later in December to begin work on their first album and single.

Squire also confirmed that he has worked on a track with Liam Gallagher called 'Love Me And Leave Me', with Liam having written the verse and the melody.
