Stone Roses Ian Brown Apologises To Kylie Minogue
BROWN APOLOGISES TO MINOGUE
Ex-STONE ROSES star IAN BROWN has apologised for complaining about sharing the headline spot at Britain's GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL with KYLIE MINOGUE - because he made his comments before the pop beauty pulled out of the event after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
I WANNA BE ADORED star Brown insisted Minogue would ruin the credibility of next month's (JUN05) legendary music show, because her camp, pop image undermines the festival's gritty, rock 'n' roll reputation.
But Brown instantly regretted his outspoken comments when he discovered Minogue's illness forced her to cancel her debut at the legendary festival.
He says, "Sorry. It's her music I cannot stand, not her."
In other Stone Roses news OASIS star NOEL GALLAGHER is convinced fellow Manchester, England band THE STONE ROSES will reunite in the near future - when they have settled their well-publicised differences.
The volatile I WANNA BE ADORED group's bassist MANI and singer IAN BROWN performed together two months ago (MAR05) at the start of Brown's solo tour, sparking hopes for an official reunion.
And Gallagher, a friend of Brown, claims it's "a matter of time" until the group put their tensions behind them for good.
He says, "They've got unfinished business, and they'd have to do new tunes, but they'd be idiots if they didn't.
"Mani would at the drop of a hat; Ian and JOHN (SQUIRE) have got issues, but they can be worked out."
