i'm not the greatest but i thought we'd be as well adding a thread for any pc tech probs people may have. i'm sure someone on the board will be able to help most problems out you may have.
by the way i'm on firefox but keeping getting uresponsive script showing up and it saying that if i keep running the script my pc might close down, whether i press cancel or continue my firefox automatically closes down, why's that? |

Well I have too and I have had Firefox closing down on me (no message, no warning) whenever i ran Java (for example to upload photos on Facebook).
That was the only thing that seemed to cause problems.
I'm not sure why.
The guy to ask on here is Stillinthearea... he knows a bit about computer... I think! _________________

My YouTube Dowloader doesn't seem to work anymore.
Any suggestion for an alternative? _________________

I do use Firefox. I'll do that.
In the meantime I found out I was using the 2.5.6 version and there is a new 2.5.7 version available, so I disinstalled the old one, dowloaded the new one and everything's working again! _________________

Personally I use Microsoft Picture It! Simply b/c it was already in my PC when I bought it and it's very easy to use (which is good for me, as I'm not that great on the computer either).
Photoshop is another one you could use.
You might also be able to use Paint, though I never really use it for costumizing photos. _________________

The internal power thing in my PC died last week. I replaced it with a brand new one and that appears to have died too, after a couple of hours. I used an old one while I was waiting for the new one to be delivered and there were no problems with that one, days of use.
Incidentally my CPU regularly overheats and shuts down. _________________ "The day after Man City win the European Cup". |

My laptop was devasted by a ferocious virus last Friday
I've been using a borrowed one all weekend and I should get mine back tomorrow... together with the bill for the repair _________________
