Ian Brown's got the greatest hits?
For the next three days Radio 1 will playing the best British music from the last 25 years to celebrate the Brits 25th anniversary.
The Stone Roses were a major influence and Ian Brown says he thinks now could be the right time for his greatest hits album:
"It was 1998 when I put 'My Star' out - I think it was January or February - so it's now seven years later."
"I think it would be a good time to do a greatest hits."
"I've done four albums and a few collaborations with artists like UNKLE - I could do a great twenty track greatest hits album."
"I think it would be stronger than the Stone Roses' greatest hits."
