IAN BROWN SAFE AFTER DUAL ATTACKS

Ian Brown is safely back home in England and looking forward to tour the UK, after being attacked twice onstage in the US.

During a performance at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, CA on March 15, Ian Brown was attacked by an audience member who charged the stage and forcibly "rugby tackled" Brown to the ground mid-song. With no immediate response from security, Brown's band members came to his aid.

According to an eyewitness, security did show eventually and as the attacker was being removed from stage left, a second individual entered from the opposite side of the stage, approaching Brown from behind, then spinning Brown around. A second scuffle ensued.

It was later determined the second attacker was actually a member of the club security team, dressed in an outfit different from the rest of the security staff.

Brown and band did finish their set. As a matter of record, were questioned later on that evening by the San Francisco Police Department about the incident. Neither Brown nor anyone in the band was charged or arrested, nor expect to be.

Ian and the band have all returned safely to the UK and are looking forward to play the UK shows.
