Manc Royalty Turn Out For Ian Brown

Noel 'The Guvnor' Gallagher and ex-Stone Roses and Primal Scream bassist Mani were among the guests to join Ian Brown on stage last night at the Apollo in Manchester.

Noel Gallagher joined Ian Brown onstage last night (October 18) at Manchester's Apollo for a run-through of Brown's recent single 'Keep What Ya Got' in front of a rabid sold-out crowd.

Brown raced through a set made up of his solo material and Stone Roses classics that he has recently added to his live set.

Later in the evening, Brown pulled up ex-bandmate Mani to take a bow shouting, "Let's have a big hand for Mani - Mani's in the house!" The bassist had been spotted in the venue earlier in the night prompting rumours he would play live.

For the final encore DJ and producer James Lavelle joined Brown onstage for 'Be There' and 'R.E.I.G.N', tracks the pair had previously collaborated on for Lavelle's U.N.K.L.E. project.

The remaining dates for the sold-out tour are as follows:
  • Manchester Apollo (October 19th)
  • London Brixton Academy (21st, 22nd)
