13th April 2005 The Stone Roses most famous single was arguably the 'Fools Gold' 12" with its instantly recognisable John Squire 'Double Dorsal Doppelganger One' artwork, originally released in November 1989 on Silvertone Records (ORE T 13). Since then it's been re-released a number of times (twice being, 'Fools Gold '95' Silvertone ORE T 71 and 'Fools Gold '99 Jive Electro 0523090', appeared on a huge number of compilations and has been remixed by the likes of A Man Called Gerald and Grooverider more recently.
Fans of The Stone Roses will probably not surprised to hear that it is to receive another release featuring the Original Mix and backed with both the A Man Called Gerald 'Top Won Mix' and Grooverider's Mix, this time courtest of Simply Vinyl who previously took care of the re-release of Second Coming.
