26th July 2005 I have just found a few links that point to a new Ian Brown/Stone Roses CD, don't get too excited, it's not gonna be a 3rd Roses LP - but a 'kinda' official audio biog thing. Amazon.co.uk lists details of 'Maximum Ian Brown & The Stone Roses'. It's apparently due for released on 3rd October 2005 on Chrome Dreams, I hunted out their website and found some examples of their other titles and by the sound of them I doubt we'll get John Harris reading this one.

15th July 2005 The Guardian publishes a letter from Hassan, a young Muslim born and raised in Yorkshire, who offers a heartfelt response to last week's attacks on London. He uses one of our greatest anthems 'I Am The Resurrection' to perfectly illustrate his poignant message. Click here to read the full article.

14th July 2005 Just a reminder for anyone who missed the details last month, I've still got plenty of copies of the JSU John Squire DVD - 'Other Men's Flowers', which I embarked upon due to overwhelming interest from my fellow fans. It features all top quality vids of the rare John Squire live performances, along with loads of bonus footage/features and with specially designed menu systems and coming in standard DVD cases with unique artwork. Click here for the full tracklisting and details. Please email any queries to admin@john-squire.com.

A reminder that this is not an official release, but something I have put together for my fellow fans and all revenue raised from this covers the cost of the project with any excess going towards my hosting costs.

11th July 2005 NME reviews Ian Brown's problematic performance at the T In The Park festival, that saw Brown have to restart 'Made Of Stone' (2nd song on the bill) twice due to technical problems. Click here for the full review.

11th July 2005 Local newspaper, the Bristol Evening Post reviews Ian Brown's gig at the Bristol Academy (6th July). He played five classic Roses tunes ('Sally Cinnamon', 'Made Of Stone', 'Waterfall', 'She Bangs The Drums' and 'I Wanna Be Adored') as well as covering the Sex Pistols' song 'Submission'. Click here for the full review.

1st July 2005 The Official Ian Brown website confirms the full details for the forthcoming single 'All Ablaze', which is due out on Fiction Records on August 22nd.
