31st August 2005 As promised, JSU reviews Ian Brown's forthcoming greatest hits 'The Greatest' (released on Fiction on 12th September), thanks to the kind folks at ianbrown.co.uk who managed to sort out an advance copy for review. Click here to read the review.
31st August 2005 'All Ablaze' is released next Monday (5th September) and will be released on Limited Clear 7" (very smart) backed with 'Destiny Or Circumstance' live from Brixton and on Maxi CD also receiving 'The Sweet Fantastic' live from Brixton and the 'All Ablaze' video. 30th August 2005 The Official Ian Brown website has just launched a brand new look to coincide with the launch of Ian Brown's best of album 'The Greatest' which is to be released 12th September (with new single 'All Ablaze' released a week before - 5th September). To go explore the new site, click here.
25th August 2005 As previously mentioned Aesthetica Magazine's latest issue features an in depth interview with John Squire, featured his artwork piece 'GTR' as their cover and gave a look at 6 brand new 2005 John Squire pieces. The wonderfully varied six new pieces (pictured below) certainly seem to be a move (even further) away from John's previous cover art/music inspired pieces (and closer to mainstream art) with John Squire describing his own artistic career as "Emerging at a glacial pace from the straight-jacket of homage and plagiarism"... all new art pieces have been added to my John Squire Artwork gallery (as well as lots of new pictures for existing artwork and finally a picture of the Squire-custom toaster that was on display at his 2004 exhibitions!)
To read the full interview check out the Aesthetica website for places to buy Issue 10 of their magazine. Click here to explore the John Squire Gallery.

24th August 2005 As interest is winding down now and it's been taking up a far bit much of my time... I've decided to only make the JSU - John Squire Unofficial DVD - 'Other Men's Flowers' available until the end of the August, so if anybody is still after one, I ask you to contact me soon to avoid disappointment. Click here for the full tracklisting and details. Please email any queries to admin@john-squire.com.
A reminder that this is not an official release, but something I have put together for my fellow fans and all revenue raised from this covers the cost of the project with any excess going towards my hosting costs.
