Re: elephant stone sessions out-take

from thisistheone http://www.thestoneroses.co/interview-matt-mead-elephant-stone-recording-session-outtakes-rarities-stoneroses-thestoneroses/ scroll down the page to find the youtube clip Brown's vocals sound angelic. I've thought for a while that it would be interesting to strip away all of the e...

Re: Liam Gallagher's single

The Liam Gallagher thing just doesn't interest me. I do not understand why people would spend money on that. I have heard good things about Noel's new music, and I suspect hanging around U2 on their tour will inspire him to come up with some new ideas instead of more 3-chord Dadrock. I might give N...

Re: Ian Brown Solo

Whatever his approach was, it seemed to work very well and gel completely on Music Of The Spheres. The combination of his vocals, lyrics, the production, and guitar playing made that album very special. If we do get a new IB album, I would expect it will be more of the same, hip hop / R&B / reggae ...

Re: They're kind of pathetic

It's now been 8 years and two months since Ian Brown was involved in the release of a new album. It's now been almost 14 years since John Squire was involved in the release of a new album. It's now been 23 years since Reni was involved in the release of a new album. Let's put this into perspective,...

Re: "Don't be sad it's over, be happy it happened"

Is there any news on what Squire is up to? Seems a bit strange that all the talk is of IB’s next move. One thing this reunion has done in my opinion, is to bring Squire back into the spotlight. Seen so much of ian brown over the years and very little John Squire. I should imagine Squire will disapp...

Re: Ruined, Tarnished, Status Quo or Enhanced?

The reputation of the Roses fanbase was also tarnished during the 2011-2017 period... Nobody on here, of course. But various knobheads on other forums and social media. Tossers claiming to be 'in the know', attention seeking clowns claiming that they knew the lyrics to 'Mantis', pricks with countdo...

Is Mani still on the cigs?
Didn't Reni say something during the press conference about them all being on smoker's wagon?

Yeah, coz 55 is ancient for a musician.

Getting paid a fortune to travel the world must be such a chore for the poor lad.
It could be for someone in ill health. At any age.
Agreed. He didn't look well in the press conference and looked significantly worse by Hampden.
