Shame - Songs of praise
Cabbage - Young dumb and full of...

Good to see some younger bands still have an edge.

Re: John Squire's t shirt at spike island soundcheck

Great collection. Did you acquire these tops at the time or tracked them down?
Whenever I go to a second hand / thrift store I always have a look to see if any 90's labels turn up. But sadly never have.
I will have to venture up into my loft and share what tops I kept from that period.

Re: Searching for ‘Keyhole’ Hooded Top - Ian Brown

Like 90% of Ians clothes... its by A.FOUR LABS designed by Kazuki Kuraishi. That jacket is quite a few seasons ago now so would be very hard to find. Being from Japan most stuff is available there.. https://store.heathergreywall.com But UK stores like END and GOODHOOD do stock the odd item every now...

Re: John Squire's t shirt at spike island soundcheck

Always interested to read about 90s clothing. I bought a MAU MAU jacket back in 91 or 92. My friends and I all used to buy our clothes from Drivers Menwear in Northampton as he used to stock the same brands as a lot of the Manchester bands were wearing at the time. I still own a few pieces as cant b...

Re: Was Spike Island an overrated gig?

My memories of Spike Island are quite vague now... I do remember it being a ridiculously long day/night... having to get picked up by a coach at a service station at silly o'clock in the morning. I can remember before entering the gig buying cans of Skol at what at the time seemed like a shop in som...

This is the one
Breaking into heaven
Made of stone
Your star will shine
Going down
Moses
Begging you
Love spreads
One love
The hardest thing in the world
Fools gold

ENCORE

I wanna be adored
Across the Sands
Sugar spun sister
Standing here
Tightrope
How do you sleep
I am the resurrection

Re: New T-shirts

The ones available in Tokyo before the gig all sold out. I think a full release is going to happen for Autumn/Winter this year with places like Goodhood stocking them.

Re: Less than two fortnight's till the Belfast gig / start of summer gigs

Seen a couple of pics on IG of Ian in Belfast and the fans have mentioned he offered them tickets. Nice gesture, but shows the current state of affairs.

Re: Rosy News 2017

As a Roses fan since 89 rightly or wrongly I have a certain expectation... probably because of their original attitude and approach to their fans, the press and whole music scene in general at that time. I think in 2012 / 13 a little bit of that magic came back and although still a little bit of a r...

Re: new pics thread

Yes. Many thanks for this. Over the years I thought I'd seen every possible pic. So good to see some different even if just a different angle or outtake. Good work.
