Live at Leeds LP, The Who

The La's, The La's
I'd forgotten how much of a gorgeous voice Lee Mavers has.

new George Clinton & Parliament song.
Album due this year, seemingly the concept of the album is about the racketeering of the big pharmaceutical companies.
Love George, 74 years old and still the bomb.
Enjoy

Shame - Songs of praise
Cabbage - Young dumb and full of...

Good to see some younger bands still have an edge.

I haven't listened to much new music lately... well, at least not by new people, though I do listen to new albums by artists I already know (Beck, St Vincent, First Aid Kits, Father John Misty...). But apart from that, I've been re-discovering old favourites. One of the perks of getting older is you can stop to try and be cool

I'm enjoying a one off 'Wu Tang Clan Radio Show" on 6 Music

edit:- I've always thought Ian Brown had cool musical taste, I'd like to hear him to a guest radio show like this, or any of the band for that matter.

Those two comps Ian was involved in were brilliant at the time. It was my introduction to eddie Bo.
I always though a great idea for a music documentary would be a private peak into someone's music collection like Ian.
dJ shadow is another it's ridiculous the amount of records he has in his personal collection I'm sure he had an event last year were he sold some of it.

I'm still mad on a couple of live parliament funkadelic CDs recently released the one from 78 is excellent.
A comp called runnin down the voodoo too.
