Squire walks out on Roses






THE STONE ROSES will continue as a band following the shock departure of guitarist and founder member JOHN SQUIRE last week.

Squire is likely to pursue a solo career and has already been working on his own material.

He informed Ian Brown, Mani and Robbie Maddix by telephone on Thursday (March 21). The decision was made public last Monday night (March 25).
